Perhaps no driver in the racing community was beloved as Dan Wheldon. The 2-time Indianapolis 500 winner, and 2005 series champion was a favorite among all race fans. He knew how to have a good time, how to engage with the fans, and make everyone feel like a friend. On top of all of that, he was one of the most talented drivers the IndyCar Series has ever seen.
The loss of Wheldon shook the entire racing world, and still brings many to tears. There have been countless tribute videos circulating around the internet, but I feel this one is right at the top of them all. Credit goes to “RacingInSlowMotion” on YouTube.
