Thanks for all of the info about the Indy 500. I’ve been really interested in learning about cars since I started dating this girl. Her dad owns several car dealerships, and he is very into racing. It’s a little intimidating, and I wanted to learn more so that I have something to talk to him about when we go over to their house. Anyway, thanks for this! I’ll be able to talk about the Indy 500 now!

Haha, I’m sure he would gladly accept the “number 2 title”. Thanks, I’ve always been into history, not sure why. I guess the dramatic lifestyle changes and care free attitude people had back then really draw me in. A couple books I’ve got have some really interesting pictures from the early years (1911-1940s). Every decade brought something new though, which is awesome. More than happy to talk IndyCar/Indy 500 with anyone, anytime!
